On the heels of Veterans Day, this week TGD honor’s those who serve and have served our country. This goes beyond the soldiers and extends to their families, especially their partners and spouses, who are often called to lean into the uncertainty and adversity, and even put their immediate goals on hold. This week, I talk with Brandy Sharpe, wife of an active duty serviceman, mama to two teenage girls, a volunteer, and graduate student - all of this while being stationed internationally with her family! Brandy shares her journey in navigating life as a military spouse including frequent moves and changes, the blessings and challenges, and getting comfortable in the ambiguity; how she finds joy; and how she continues to pursue her own professional and personal goals!
