Episode 13: Finding joy in your health and fitness journey with Michelle Clark.
I don’t know about you but working out hasn’t always been something I enjoy. Especially working out in public. No. Never. Not for me. I was too insecure about my gym outfit, knowledge of the gym equipment (what do all those machines really do?), and body. All of this coupled with mixed messages of what to eat - who knew some people refer to bananas as “sugar sticks,” I just didn’t think working out and feeling good in this way was for me. In this episode, Michelle Clark, my friend and gym owner debunks some myths, teaches us a different way to consider health and fitness, and inspires us to make little steps. And, guess what, you don’t have to wear matching gym clothes or understand all those machines... She’s the real deal and is here to help us out!
Michelle is a coach and Co-owner of Deliberate Strength. As a Division I college athlete, a basketball player at Gonzaga University, sports and training has always been a part of Michelle’s life.
